Hidden behind the orange facade of the Fashion and Textile Museum (FTM) is a history of this industry dating back to the 1950s.  There's also plenty of contemporary fashion, textiles and jewellery. The museum is run by Newham College and which also organises some interesting workshops.  Round your visit off with a cuppa in the on-site cafe Teapod @ FTM, the entrance is on Bermondsey Street.
