Shop opening times

Many shops follow regular opening hours but there are often changes.  Many don't open their doors until 9.30am. The larger stores open at 10.00 am on Sundays. The West End and Kensington High Street stores tend to stay open until 7:00pm and the larger stores in Oxford Street until 9.00am. The stores in Knightsbridge and Chelsea stay open later on Wednesdays for late night shopping.  

Store Hours for Easter and Whitsunday

Shops in London are usually open at Easter and on Whitsunday but for a shorter time.  

Late night shopping

The shops in Central London, West End and Kensington High Street open late on Thursdays, usually until 8.00 pm and sometimes until 9.00pm. The stores in Knightsbridge and Chelsea open late on Wednesdays until 8.00 or 9.00pm. The shops stay open late in July too when the summer sales kick off.

Sunday shopping

Most shops are open every Sunday in London from 12.00 am to 6.00 pm. Some of the bigger stores open as early as 10.00am.
