De oude kerk
This church was built in 1250 and is the oldest in the city. Regular exhibitions and concerts are held here. On the outside it's possible to see the different phases of construction that took place over five centuries. it's been granted European Monument status and is hoem to several treasures including a Vater-Müller organ from 1724/1738, several tombs of Dutch naval heroes and Rembrandt's first wife's tomb. Between April and September there's guided tours and you can climb the tower.
